August 23rd - beans, carrots, and beets -- time to share this bounty with the neighbors. They've already enjoyed tomatoes and squash.
Steve picking brandy wine tomatoes, a showing off a triple headed carrot, and a bunch of radishes. I'm in the house washing and staging to make another batch of sauce tomorrow.

August 31st - Ready for our neighbor's Labor Day Party!
August 27th - Today I visited the website http://www. AwayToGarden.com (Margaret Roach) and listened to one of the podcasts on drying and freezing tomatoes (http://podcasts.am1020whdd.com/~am1020wh/shows/play.php?id=28210). Then I picked up Roach's book, The Backyard Parables: Lessons on Gardening and Life. Below are the tomatoes I will be drying today using her recipe.
